Clear View Motorized Power Screens are great for those wide openings where a Retractable Screen door just won’t work such as: Garage Doors, Patio Enclosures, and Extra Large Sliders. The Retractable Motorized Power Screen offers an unobstructed view while reducing the harmful effects of the sun’s rays.
The Clear View Motorized Power Screen is the highest quality motorized screen you will find in the market today. It’s the only motorized screen made 100% in the U.S.A. Motorized Power Screens consist of a drop down approach, in which the housing unit is secured across the top of the opening to be protected. With the push of a button on a remote or wall switch, the Power Screen drops to the floor with the guidance of left and right vertical rail. Vertical rails are optional as power screens can be installed with or without sidetracks. A wire guide system can also be implemented instead of sidetracks to prevent the screen from swaying back and forth in mild wind. Depending on the application, Clear View Motorized Power Screens can be surface mounted or mounted inside the jam of an opening on the interior or exterior of a home.
To accommodate various width and height requirements, two housing canister sizes are available. Canister size is determined by the width, height and screen fabric to be used. A 4″ housing canister (4 ¼” × 4 ¼ × 4″) can span up to 17’ in width and 12’ in height. A 5″ housing canister (4 15/16″ x 4 15/16″ x 4 11/16″) can span up to 25’ in width and 16’ in height. Both series use the same 2 3/16″ x 7/8″ thick rail system. The weight bar on each housing applications is the same as well at 2 ¼” x 7/8″ thick.
A self-contained 110-volt Somfy motor is factory mounted on either the right or left side of the Power Screen unit depending on the preference of the customer, which is decided at the time of the measure. The motor is compliant with CSA & UL safety codes and works on 180-240 watts/1.7-2 amps. The Clear View Motorized Power Screen can be ordered with a one-channel remote or one channel wireless wall switch (operates only one unit) or a five-channel remote or five channel wireless wall switch that can operate up to five units individually. A hard wired version of the wireless wall switch is available as well upon request.
All Clear View Motorized Power Screen extruded aluminum components are powder coated using one of our current 12 standard colors or we can do numerous custom colors as well. Clear View Motorized Power Screens are available in over 210 Custom Powder Coated Tiger Drylac RAL colors as well as 19 Powder Coated Wood Grain Finishes (additional charges will apply). But, with any custom color order, the end caps can’t be power coated and you must choose between white or black for the hard plastics.
The Clear View Motorized Power Screen mesh options are endless with the first option being Black or White Polyester Super Screen which is 5 times stronger than fiberglass mesh and helps block up to 60% of the sun’s rays. 80% or 90% Twitchell Solar Block fabric is available as well in Beige, Black, Brown, Desert Sand, Gray or White. 85% Solar Block Mesh is available also in Black, Pebble and White. In addition, 100% Privacy Material is available in Black or White which will block out 100% of the sun’s rays. Field installation of the fabric onto the roller tube is easily accomplished at the installation using a Velcro attachment system.
To ensure an exact fit, we will come out to your home to take measurements and show you our product. We will bring a small handheld demo, color chips and samples of the screen mesh color choices. Classic Home Improvement Product’s Power Screens come with a limited lifetime warranty: 10 years on defective or non-conforming goods (excluding screen mesh), 5 years on the motor (typical wear and tear expected) and a 1 year warranty on the wireless control device.
